Project Overview
ORTIA Airside Corridor Upgrade inclusive of 3 New Seating
- Airside Corridor Including 5 New Seating Nodes Project Brief
- A Condition Assessment to determine the current extent of wear and tear in the existing arrivals and departures corridors
- Existing Airside Arrivals and Departures corridor refurbishments
- 5 new seating nodes to be located on the Alpha apron (between gates C 11 and A 2 with a total approximate area of 3650 m2
- Each Node should have approximately 450 m2 to 500 m2 area for seating,queuing and circulation
- Each Node to accommodate “ Code E aircraft
- Allow 150 m2 of retail with full services in the Node on the Southern end
- Allow for 3 smaller retail outlets ( measuring 30 m2 each
- 50 m2 for a non airline lounge with full services in the “ node ( between stands A 8 and A 9
- Compliance with SANS 10400 (building regulations) SHE and Aviation Standards
- The overall look and feel of the nodes must be integrated
